Pet Tech3

We are Pet CPR and First Aid Trained!

Pet Tech is the first international training  center dedicated to  CPR and First Aid Care for dogs and cats. Our staff has successfully completed Pet Tech Training in Pet Saver and Pet CPR and First Aid courses and are Caring, Conscientious, Responsible and Loving Pet Owners.

Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to a pet that has been injured or suddenly taken ill. Knowing the skills and techniques of Pet First Aid can mean the difference between life and death, between temporary and permanent disability, between expensive veterinary bills and reasonable home health care, and between rapid recovery and long recuperation for the pet.

The main goal of Pet First Aid is to assess the medical situation and administer the proper procedures to stabilize the pet on the way to emergency veterinary care. (Pet First Aid is NOT a substitute for medical care by a certified pet health care professional)

Snout-To-Tail Wellness Assessment

This is a method used for evaluating and determining the current status of the pet’s overall health. This can also be a bonding experience between the pet and the pet sitter, there should be no part of the pet that you should not be able to touch. Having a pet that is comfortable being touched will assure it a better examination by a veterinarian or pet care professional.

If you know what is “Normal” for the pet, then you will be able to quickly recognize what is “Not Normal” for that pet. Early detection means early intervention. The assessment includes examination of the following:

  • Neck and Spine
  • Chest and Ribs
  • Front Legs and Paws
  • Abdomen
  • Back Legs and Paws
  • Tail
  • Skin and Coat
