Here are the answers to some of our most popular questions.

          How do I get started?

Simply fill out the “Contact Form” on the right hand side of the page. You may also call 813-446-6612 with any additional questions. We return calls and emails within a few hours.

Want to schedule a initial meet and greet? Click the “Client Portal” tab on the menu bar and fill out the online profile in full and schedule a “Meet and Greet” Our office will call to confirm time and date.

          What services do you offer?

We offer  daily dog walks, overnight pet sitting, vacations visits, express  visits and concierge and transportation services! Going away for the weekend? Going out of town for a long vacation? Need Fido walked 5x per week? NO PROBLEM!

          What does a pet sitter do while in my home?

While in a client’s home, the sitter cares for the pets. This includes feeding, walking, playing in the yard, and clean up if needed. They do NOT: watch TV, eat your food, and use your phone. They lock up when done with the service. We pride ourselves in professionalism. Just like other services (cable/contractor/plumber/painter/cleaning service) we are there to conduct business and care for your pet!

          Why do you use a “Lock Box” Program?

We understand that entrusting your key to your home can be nerve-wracking. Unleashed Tampa Bay makes a promise to each client that their key(s) are safe and secure in our hands.  We request the key be left in a “Lock Box” at the location of your choice at your home. The “Lock Box” is purchased through our reservation system and you own the box. The only times we enter the home are during contracted service times.  We recommend having a key even if you have garage codes, Florida loves its storms! If the power goes out for ANY reason, we would have NO WAY to get to your precious pet! We do not “leave keys under the mat” for security reasons.  This eliminates the need for drop off pick up of your key and the charge that incurs. The initial cost of the box is $25.00 which includes the drop off and coding of the box to your specific code you request.

          What will I need for the “Meet and Greet”?

At this time we will review the online profile that you created and make sure we have all of the important information about your home and you’re pet. Please fill out all of the information in full, the more information the better!  We will go over the schedule and the whereabouts of leashes, food, treats and add any additional notes we need to care for your pets. We will bring the lock box at this time.

          What type of pets do you care for?

You name it, we care for it! Dogs, cats, birds, fish and small pockets animals (hamsters, guinea pigs) and reptiles! If you have a question regarding your species of pet, just give us a call!

          How do I pay for service?

Once you have signed up for an account as a New Client, you may schedule and pay online with a credit card or debit card. (We DO NOT accept cash or checks) You are able to change the card number at any time by accessing your client profile and adding the new card information. Your card will be charged up to 3 days before your service is scheduled to start and you will receive a email confirmation and receipt. 

          How do I edit or change an online reservation?

Simply log into the reservation system and click “REVIEW MY APPOINTMENTS” and click “MANAGE” you can either uncheck the days you do not need or access the “SCHEDULER” and re enter the appointment. Don’t forget to complete the appointment. Remember the appointment is NOT CONFIRMED unless you receive a confirmation email from Unleashed Tampa Bay. Please know we have a 24 hour cancelation policy appointments cancelled less than 24 hours do not receive a refund or credit. There are no credits given for days cancelled if you have a Weekly Dog Walking Package.

          How do I schedule same day or emergency service?

Schedules are emailed at 1:00 am each day to our pet sitters via our reservation system. Requesting same day service will need to be done by calling our office at 813-446-6612 or send us an email request to unleashedtampabay@gmail.com. We know things come up and days do not go as planned and we will try our best to accommodate same day requests. There is a additional charge for same day service.
